The Sound

Approaching the island by water may appear innocuous on a map – but our small island community understand that looks can be deceiving. The sound of Jura’s northern strait is home to the Gulf of Corryvreckan: a notorious whirlpool lying in wait for the unwary. The gift carton showcases this body of water and brings to life the Island’s elements.

Jura The Sound is initially matured in ex bourbon casks before being finished in casks that have previously held 15 Year Old Pedro Ximénez sherry. Notes of maple syrup drizzled over hazelnuts give way to warming winter notes of orange peel and black forest fruits.
