Running from Friday 27th May to Saturday 4th June, the Islay and Jura Single Malt Whisky and Music Festival welcomes whisky, music and travel fans from around the world and this year we’re welcoming visitors back to our island home.
Our Fèis Ìle Day will be hosted on Friday 3rd June, at our visitor centre where you will be able to buy our Jura distillery Fèis Ìle 2022 Edition and try some of our whiskies. Deer Island Rum, Jura brewery, Lussa Gin and The Island Bakehouse will all have their own activity throughout the day and if you are lucky enough to be staying on the island there will be live music at night.

Our Jura Distillery Fèis Ìle Edition 2022 celebrates our approach to whisky making and reflects our island home – as our entire whisky making team came together to explore our Jura warehouses and to select this year’s cask, making it the perfect bottle for whisky fans and collectors. Our Fèis Ìle Edition 2022 will be exclusively available from our Visitor Centre on Friday 3rd of June, before being made available on our online shop on Saturday 4th of June.
Joe Ricketts, Blender from our whisky team, describes our 14 Year Old Fèis Ìle 2022 Edition as: “Carefully selected together with the distillery team, this year’s Fèis Ìle cask combines the fruity, aromatic character, including stone fruit and citrus in various guises found in Jura whisky around this vintage, with rich, warming notes from its time in a single Sherry butt”.
A testament to the passion and commitment of our distillery team, each bottle is hand-filled, wax sealed on island at a cask strength of 57.2% ABV. Our single sherry butt selected for this year’s bottling is expected to produce around just 700 bottles which will be exclusively available on island on our Fèis Ìle Open Day on Friday 3rd June, before being made available on our online shop from Saturday 4th June 2022. Entertainment
Glaswegian sensation Trail West, recently joined us on island for our virtual Jura Music Festival 2021 and we can’t wait to welcome them back with a live crowd for a good shindig. Their local support band ‘Pete Smoke and the Roaches’ will also be playing covers for a great Scottish singalong!

Please note: if you’re not staying on island the last returning ferry to Islay is 6.30pm
Tours
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to bring back tours or tastings in time for Fèis Ìle 2022, but our visitor centre will be open and our knowledgeable brand home team can’t wait to welcome you on the day to talk about all things Jura whisky, and of course we will have our Jura Distillery Fèis Ìle Edition 2022 bottle available to buy, exclusively on island on Friday 3rd June.
Getting here
If you are looking to make the journey on Friday June 3rd to secure your bottle and experience more of our island home, please ensure you check your travel ahead of your journey. We do have two busses running shuttles alongside the ferry timetable to help you to get from Feolin crossing to Craighouse and back.
