Welcome to Jura! Before you explore our whiskies, tell us where you're from and be sure to confirm you are old enough to enjoy a drink with us.
At journey’s end in the heart of our island, you’ll find them: The Sacred Mountain, The Mountain of the Sound and The Mountain of Gold. These are The Paps of Jura which tower over the landscape for miles around, commanding respect from visitors and our tiny island community alike.
The whisky bearing the name has been crafted to be as striking as The Paps themselves. This 19-year-old single malt is initially matured in American White Oak ex bourbon barrels before being finished in casks that have previously held an astonishing 40 year old Pedro Ximénez sherry. Rich, sweet and spicy, this whisky delivers flavours of ginger cake, vanilla, spiced pear and balsamic glaze, before a long, nutty finish.
There's more to Jura Single Malt Whisky than water, barley and yeast. A little bit of our Island home, our community and passion makes it into every bottle.
