FAQs

Whisky

  • Jura is one of the few single malt Scotch whiskies produced on a Scottish island, where the rugged landscape and Atlantic air shape every dram. Our exceptionally tall stills create a lighter, fruity elegant spirit that sets Jura apart from heavier island malts.

  • Store your bottle upright in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat. Once opened, whisky keeps well for several months - the more air in the bottle, the faster the flavour may evolve, so enjoy it at your own pace.

  • Jura is best enjoyed neat or with a small splash of still water to open up the aromas. If you prefer it longer, it works beautifully over ice or in a simple highball with soda water.

  • The Jura 12 Year Old is an ideal introduction - approachable, smooth, and full of character. If you're looking for something a little richer, the Jura 14 Year old is a popular step up with layers of sweet citrus and dark chocolate.

  • Absolutely. Our range spans everyday expressions through to rare vintage releases, making it easy to find something special for any occasion or budget. Gift packaging is available on selected bottles.

  • The distillery sits on the Isle of Jura in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland — an island with a population of around 200 people and over 6,000 red deer.
